During our trip to Portland in June, one of the place we visited was Mount Tabor. On the way there, we stopped at a little coffee shop called Crema Coffee + Bakery. They have a few locations, and this one we went to was inside a lovely stone church. The entrance is to the side, through a bright red door.
It was a really cute space attached to the church and event space. Loved the little stained glass windows, and the antique-feel of the space. Very cozy and homey. As the name suggests, they have a good variety of baked goods, but since we just had lunch, we stopped there for a cup of coffee only. The ordering counter and all the baked goods are in the back room.
Once we ordered our coffee, we sat at once of the tables at the front room. We got Rose Latte ($6/12oz) and Spanish Latte ($6/12oz). The Rose Latte is made with housemade rose syrup and local honey. It was not overly sweet, but perfect sweetness, and the coffee was nice and strong. Spanish Latte is made with housemade sweetened condensed milk. It was creamy and milky, and super delicious!
It was a super cute little cafe that makes amazing coffee. We really enjoyed our quick, relaxing coffee stop here at the Crema Coffee + Bakery.
