One of our favorite spot in Cape Cod for ice cream is Eulinda’s Ice Cream. They share the space with Village Café, so they have a good amount of seating if you want to eat your ice cream indoors. But, on a beautiful like the day we visited, everyone sat at one of the picnic table right outside. They have entrance/exit on street side and the back side of the house.
Right by the back entrance, they have the ice cream counter. They have the enormous offerings of their ice cream flavors on a chalkboard to the left of the counter. As each flavor gets sold out, the flavor will get covered up.
The inside is filled with history of this neighborhood, really interesting to look around everywhere. They have old photos on the table, which are really cool.
Now, the ice cream. My hubby went with Green Monster ($4.25/one scoop), as he loves the color of green, and he loves mint, and he loves chocolate. It was like this ice cream was made for him… It was creamy, minty, velvety, and chocolate-y. Really awesome ice cream, exactly what he wanted! And how in the world would this considered “one” scoop? I see at least three scoops in here…amazing!!!
For me, I chose Coffee Kahlua Brownie ($4.25/one scoop). Do you even need to ask why with that magical concoction of flavors??? And it was really tasty! Great coffee flavor that was not too overwhelming, with the sweetness of Kahlua, and chunks of brownies… It was heavenly!
So, is this spot still our favorite ice cream shop in Cape? You betcha! We will be back when it gets to be ice cream season again… They do close during the cold months, so make sure they are open before you head out there!
