We first visited Ogawa Coffee one year ago, and we so enjoyed the drinks, sweets, and yes, the latte art. When we were back in Boston, we had to visit them again for more latte art… Since we just wanted a cup of coffee or tea, we didn’t get any food this time.
My hubby went with Matcha Latte ($6/small), and since it was around Thanksgiving holidays, they had turkey latte art. He went with that. The turkey looked better than the sample photo, I assume each latte artist does a bit different design. I think this one came out pretty good. The Matcha latte was as good as we remembered, with real, strong matcha flavor, more bitter than sweet.
I went with Houjicha Latte ($6/small), and asked for a bear latte art. The latte artist was taking a longer time creating her masterpiece, and look how adorable it is!!! She actually did a latte art of a cute little guy wearing a bear hat!!! It was so amazingly lovely that all the staffs had to take photos before they hand the cup over to me…LOL. The Houjicha was amazing and delicious, and the latte art was just fabulous!!!
We were so happy we went back there for another latte art… You never know what kind of latte art you end up with, and it always brings you smile. The tea they make here are real deal, so if you are looking for an amazing cup of latte, with or without latte art, give this place a try!
