We visited H Mart mainly to have lunch at Big Bowls Little Plates inside H Mart in Paramus. We saw there were several other food vendors at their food court, and we were excited to try their food as well. This time, we decided to get some lunch from OnDubu.

The menu at OnDubu is authentic Korean cuisine, and they had enticing set menu that caught my eyes. We both ordered from their set menu, so that we can taste variety of items. I went with Pork Bulgogi + Soft Tofu Stew set ($14.99). It came with a side of rice and some banchan dishes.

Bulgogi was pretty good, it had some onions that soaked up all the tasty juice. It had a good amount of meats, sweet and tangy, tender and juicy. Great marinate, it went great with white rice. Such a comfort food…I really enjoyed it.

There were four options for the soft tofu stew: seafood, beef, mushroom, or vegetable. Also, the level of spiciness as well. I chose vegetable, mild spicy and it had some veggies like broccoli, some mushrooms, onion, and other ingredients. It also had an egg in there, but they were all broken up in the stew. The stew was not big, but a perfect size to accompany as a set menu. Hot (temperature), perfect spiciness, nice amount of fluffy tofu.

My hubby went with Spicy Pork Belly + Soft Tofu Stew set ($14.99). The setup is the same, side of white rice and some banchans.

Pork belly meats were bigger than thicker, therefore meatier. This one was also sweet and tangy, with some kick to it. The meat was tender and juicy, again, great marinate on this one also, that went really nicely with white rice. So good!

For tofu stew, my hubby went with mushroom, mild spicy. It had thinly cut and sliced mushrooms. The stew is very comfy, again, perfect spiciness. The egg was able to keep its form in this one. Good amount of tofu, nice stew.

Overall, we were satisfied and full, this set was a perfect portion size. And I thought the price was pretty good for everything you get also. Our first experience at OnDubu was a success! It is so good to be able to get this kind of meal at a supermarket. Their Market Eatery Food Hall makes this supermarket extra attractive! We will return again to try another vendor…
