Since our The Station Grill – Food Lover Girl, we have become fans of this spot. Since then, we made sure to visit every time we went to Cape Cod. In September, they made some upgrades to their outdoor seating area, and we really enjoyed having tasty casual fare there. This year, we went back for a quick trip in May, and of course, we had to go by Station Grill! The first thing I notices was this huge, heavy duty, gorgeous sunbrellas on their picnic tables. Wow! They sure did upgraded them alright! They also changed the other covering as well, making it more comfortable to eat outside without getting scorched by the sun.
The indoor dining area was also looking nice, with table cloths and flowers. Still, on a beautiful day, you can’t beat the outdoor seating under the blue sky!
We started off with their Lemonade ($2-ish?). I was afraid it was going to be too sweet, but it was not too sweet. Super refreshing, especially on a hot summer day! We really liked their lemonade.
And speaking of “upgrades” they also upgraded their menu a little bit. I had a really tasty Grilled Cod Fish sandwich before, but now, you can get it on a salad! So, I decided to try it and see how it is. The Grilled Cod Fish Salad ($16.99) was pretty nice size, with fresh veggies, generous amount of it. Salad had some bell peppers, tomatoes, arugula cucumbers and more. Cod was moist and juicy, perfect seasoning, sooo good! Nice amount of salty flavor without being too much. If you want a healthier fast-casual option, now you can get some!
My hubby went with one of our favorite, Fresh Chicken Salad Sandwich ($10.99). It was still as good as we remembered… Generous amount of fresh, tasty chicken chunks, very satisfying! Chef Marion really know how to make delicious chicken salad. Still one of the best chicken salad I’ve ever had! Moist, plump, juicy and tender, packed with flavor. If you haven’t tried it yet, you should give a try!
We had to end on one of their ice creams… We had Mint Chocolate Chip and Black Raspberry Chocolate. The best way to end a tasty meal…
We were happy and full, as we always get when we visit The Station Grill. It is always good to be welcomed by Chef John with his warm smile! Everything we had was tasty, a perfect little rest spot during a fun bike ride. If you are in the area, enjoying a stroll, bike ride, or just driving around, and need a quick bite that is tasty?
